25 weeks

I thought I better hurry and write down how this pregnancy has been so far. I can't believe it has gone by this fast and we only have 14 weeks until we meet this little one.

This pregnancy has been a breeze. I was fortunate to not have and nausea or morning sickness. My only symptom really has been exhaustion. I take a nap everyday with Paige, which is something I would do before I got pregnant :) I also craved anything salty in the first trimester. I wanted salt and vinegar chips for days. I finally got some and ate almost a whole bag and haven't touched them since. I wanted cashews, popcorn, top ramen... Anything that was super salty and not sweet. I also was and still am, constantly thirsty.

At one point I wanted salads. Everyday for lunch I would eat a salad.

My only food that I don't agree with is pizza. It gives me super bad heart burn. I can eat sweets but after just a few I am done. I used to love cake and cookies but now after a few Oreos or a piece of cake, I can't eat anymore :(

I am starting to get huge and my hips hurt every once in a while. I feel like they are out and need to be popped back in. The baby is moving like crazy and it is weird to watch my belly move as she kicks.

At 25 weeks I have gained 15lbs and hope not to go over my goal of not gaining over 30. I do have three little marks that are appearing and I know that it's just the start of many more to come sadly. This baby is front and center and I know I am going to huge by the end.

I hope it continues to go smooth because we have a lot going on in the next three months. Ryan is done with rotations in 4 weeks! We go on our big group vacation in 6 weeks. Move in 8 weeks back to Michigan. Ryan's actual graduation is May 18th and we have a baby 3 weeks later... Like I said BUSY!!

Story Time

Ok so I guess after 22 weeks its about time to tell the blog world...

Well Ryan and I are going to have another BABY!!

I was really surprised that we actually got pregnant and it happened so fast. We had only been trying for a couple months. I wanted to surprise Ryan with the news instead of a text message or something else lame. So Paige helped me set the table and make a nice dinner. On the table was a picture of Ryan and I, Paige as a baby and an empty frame for Baby Applonie.

We had also set up the bathroom with all of Paige's baby dolls with the pregnancy test by them.

Now I just needed to figure out a way for Ryan to go back there when he got home instead of immediately sitting down and eating dinner with us... Lately we have had some spiders in our house and I usually cover them with a cup and make Ryan kill them when he gets home. Perfect! So as soon as he walked in I told him there was a huge spider in the bathroom sink that was waiting for him to dispose of. He rolled his eyes at me and proceeded to head to the bathroom.

Much to his surprise there was NO SPIDER!!

Baby Applonie is arriving June 16th 2013

and Paige is going to have a little SISTER!!!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was fun this year with all of Ryan's family here. Paige opened her traditional Christmas Eve pjs and Ryan opened his. This year instead of soccer shorts and sweats for skiing he wanted an over size shirt that he could be his knees in and the comfy sweats that girls wear that have Juicy on the bum... Weirdo!

Since Ryan's brother was going to his in-laws for Christmas day, we decided that the kiddos would open their gifts from grandpa and grandma Applonie on Christmas Eve. Paige was so funny opening up her gifts and would get excited for each one.

Paige loved spreading the reindeer food all over the porch so that Santa and his reindeer would find us.

Here is Ryan in all his glory wearing his new pjs!

Christmas Dresses

Here's cute little Paige in her Christmas dress from Grandma Applonie. Dona was nice enough to get cute little outfits for all the Applonie grandkids.
