Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was fun this year with all of Ryan's family here. Paige opened her traditional Christmas Eve pjs and Ryan opened his. This year instead of soccer shorts and sweats for skiing he wanted an over size shirt that he could be his knees in and the comfy sweats that girls wear that have Juicy on the bum... Weirdo!

Since Ryan's brother was going to his in-laws for Christmas day, we decided that the kiddos would open their gifts from grandpa and grandma Applonie on Christmas Eve. Paige was so funny opening up her gifts and would get excited for each one.

Paige loved spreading the reindeer food all over the porch so that Santa and his reindeer would find us.

Here is Ryan in all his glory wearing his new pjs!

Christmas Dresses

Here's cute little Paige in her Christmas dress from Grandma Applonie. Dona was nice enough to get cute little outfits for all the Applonie grandkids.

Baby It's Cold Outside

It snowed in Idaho Falls and Paige kept asking to go outside. So we bundled her up and away she went. She loved the snow. Even when her gloves fell off and her hands were freezing. She didn't care! She only cried because we brought her inside because her hands were like ice. Crazy little girl we have.

Christmas Village

Ok be prepared that over the next week or so I am going to catch up on all the happenings in the Applonie house because we are pretty awesome and A LOT has happened.....

After leaving the midwest and driving across the country we stopped in Utah and met up with my parents and Ryans parents for the weekend before heading to Idaho Falls where Ryan is working with a family doctor for the month. With Ryan's parents, we took Paige to the Christmas village in Ogden. It was cold and rainy so we walked around pretty fast and stopped at Santa. Of course Paige was scared of Santa and screamed when we tried putting her on his lap.

I guess a sucker can make anything better. We also went to the BYU vs Weber State game with both sides of the family. Unfortunately I didn't take my camera, but it was a fun night!

We also stopped by my grandmas house and had lunch and played with her for the afternoon. Paige helped her open a Christmas present from my mom. My mom made a quilt of pieces of my grandpa's (who passed away this summer) shirts and jeans.
